The Bombali District Football Association (BDFA) expressed it deepest salutations to Northern Rock, Wusum Stars Football Club for having unbelievably completed the Sierra Leone Premier League 2022/23 campaign.
As an enthusiastic Football Association, according to the Media Unit of BDFA, they have been following and supporting the club’s voyage with great interest and have been consistently impressed by the dedication, skill, and sportsmanship displayed by the management, coaching staff, players, fans and well-wishers.
Adding that, the enterprising season of the club demonstrated exceptional talent, teamwork and unwavering determination both on and off the field.
Each match has been an evidence to the countless hours of training, hard work, and sacrifices made by the entire club. The passion and spirit exhibited by the players have not only entertained millions of fans right across but have also inspired uncountable individuals, including the Football Association.
“We would also like to extend our gratitude to the coaching staff for their excellent guidance and strategic insight. Their leadership and ability to motivate the team have undoubtedly contributed to the remarkable achievements witnessed throughout the season. The collective effort and unity displayed by the entire club have been instrumental in its success.” BDFA media said.
However, they acknowledged the efforts and support of personnel, including the medical staff, trainers, and administrative staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the club. Their commitment and pledges have played an indispensable role in maintaining the physical and mental well-being of the players and the overall operations of the club.
As an FA, we are immensely proud to have Wusum Stars Football Club as our District representative in the just concluded Sierra Leone Premier League season.
Lastly, as the club goes into recess, they are encouraging all stakeholders, football lovers and corporate institutions to come to their aid ahead of the 2023/2024 campaign season.
