If the news the brave bird is getting is anything to go by, the wise bird will say without hesitation that those in the system will never go wrong as long as their system do exist at any given time. The wise bird has been flying within the corridors of both the seat of power (State House) and the legislative Arm of government (Parliament).
During the process of flying between the two very important institutions, what the wise bird had collected by way of talking to different people was very disturbing.
The information the wise bird got so far is allegedly that most likely the suspended Clerk of Parliament Hon. Umar Paran Tarawillie might go back to take his former position as the Clerk of Parliament.
It is no secret that this is coming after meetings and meetings may have been held by senior members of government and the party officials for the reinstatement of the suspended Clerk.
The last meeting as to whether Paran is to be reinstated in Parliament or not, the opinions were diverse by members, some say if he is to be reinstated to another department – not as Clerk of Parliament according to them, because the party will have a bad name from the public.
Other members were insisting that the reason for being a member of a political party is to help or assist a member whenever he/she has a problem.
From the look of things, it seems that all those supporting Paran to go back to Parliament are believed to have won the day.
The question the brave bird is asking is that is the present system not setting a very bad precedent that might hunt them in future?
The wise bird will follow the issue to the letter for the purpose of clarity.
Government can come and go but a very bad precedent can remain for posterity.
Anyway, let’s wait and see the outcome of the allegation whether the said man will indeed go back to Parliament as the Clerk.
