Information reaching Africa24 sport desk has discovered that the Ports Mouth forward, Abu Kamara, has reportedly turned down an offer to play for the men’s national team Leone Stars in their upcoming international friendlies.
Kamara is currently on loan from Norwich City to Portsmouth FC and is demonstrating his ability on the pitch as he has netted critical goals for his team in the ongoing Championship League this season in England.
Meanwhile, his performance has caught the attention of Leone Stars’ scouts as they earlier initiated talks with the talented forward who gave preliminary consent to represent his country.
Kamara is a product of Norwich City Academy and he made his debut in April 2023.
Leone Stars’ technical team is currently extending invitation for their forthcoming friendlies on March 22nd against Botswana and Sudan come March 25the 2024.
