Abdul Bangura, a former international boxer for Sierra Leone, who is presently living in London has offered in charity some boxing equipment to the Sierra Leone Boxing Association.
The donation was made through the Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Sports in Freetown.
Bangura presented special gifts to Minister James-Teima, acknowledging her significant contributions and outstanding performance in advancing sports in Sierra Leone. The ceremony highlighted the ongoing efforts to support and develop boxing in the country, thus demonstrating Bangura’s commitment to giving back to his homeland and supporting the next generation of athletes.
The Minister expressed her gratefulness for the gift and emphasized the importance of such contributions in promoting sports and nurturing talent in Sierra Leone.
