The Shooting Starlets have got two woeful performances by Sierra Leone national female team in the ongoing female U-20 in Senegal.
The Shooting Starlets were embarrassingly beaten by Liberia, losing a 7-0. Despite their best efforts, playing with one player down following a red card in the first half proved to be a significant disadvantage.
The Sierra Starlets earlier showed great resilience and spirit especially after their impressive 2-0 victory against Mauritania in the opening match.
However, Liberia U-20 female team has successfully secured a conclusive victory to earn them a spot in the semi-finals of the WAFU U-20 Women’s competition.
Edwardline Jackson’s hat-trick, a brace from Louise Brown and a goal from Jessica Quachie and Anita Tarpeh gave the Liberians 7-0 win against Sierra Leone.
