One of the Service Providers in the District, Plan International is said to have fulfilled their side of the agreement and that they are waiting on government to release the funds to continue the exercise.
“As we speak, the government is yet to disburse money to the service provider for the school feeding programme to start in the district,” a senior education official said last night and called on government to come to the aid of the children. Meanwhile report states that the school feeding programme has been extended to several other chiefdoms in Kailahun District.
