The Wise Bird is still having problems with a seating accommodation since the historic Cotton Tree was brought down by a heavy wind almost two years ago.

The brave bird has now been flying from place to place in order to get accurate and correct news to informing the people and so he sometimes seeks advice from older people in order to be on the right track.

The Wise Bird has been getting complaints and counter complaints about the leader and Flag-bearer of the All People’s Congress (APC) party on issues pertaining to sabotage, lack of interest in the party as he seems to undermine the party’s structure.

After a proper investigation by the brave bird it was clear that, the National Advisory Committee (NAC), which is the second highest body in the party and which deserves all the respect from members regardless of whatever position ones holds in the party, is coming on hard on the party.

The Wise Bird was reliably informed of a meeting summoned by the National Advisory Committee (NAC) in order to further restructure the party and also to take a position on the just concluded tripartite committee.

Unfortunately, the Wise Bird was made to understand that, Dr. Samura Kamara deliberately boycotted the meeting organized by NAC, the second highest body in the party.

Instead Dr. Samura called a meeting separately in his resident on the same day and time by way of sabotaging the NAC meeting at the party headquarters on Old Railway Line, Brookfield Freetown.

The Wise Bird went out to sound the views of people on the issue of Dr. Samura doing this uncalled for act. The bird flew to the party headquarters, and he overheard from members of the party that since his appointment or his election as Flag-bearer of the party in 2018 and 2023, Dr. Samura has been in a fight with the party structure secretly, by way of setting up his own office parallel to the party’s main office where all his campaign activities were being carried out during the last elections.

Some people have referred to Dr. Samura as a sell-out leader, pointing at his utterances, his behaviours and the way the party is going of late. They were very quick to ask why he should not be put to question for failing to attend NAC meeting. “Is Dr. Samura bigger than the party,” they asked?

In some quarters the Wise Bird got mixed reactions on the issue of Dr. Samura doing such an act. Some say he has failed to re-unite the party as the party has been more and more divided in the last few years.

Others have accused former President Koroma who was unable to put things together before leaving office as President.

Some were so bold to have said that, Dr. Samura was not known in the party when appointed in 2018, and it was the party that sold him to the people.

For this, they believe he must have respect for the party and not just for the few.

The Wise Bird will continue to visit the APC party headquarters to get more since the party is deeply divided in a way that only God’s intervention will save the party.

The present Chairman has a lot of work to do; the tripartite is dead; it is no more, and the party must now be thinking on how to further re-unite members.

Some were questioning why Dr. Samara should not be brought to book for failing to attend NAC meeting, is he bigger than NAC?
