The Wise Bird has been a very good friend to all members, supporters and sympathizers of all the political parties in the country and he visits their offices almost every day just to have a chat with friends.

The brave bird sometimes goes to pubs, cinema halls to ghettoes not necessarily to drink alcohol, smoke jamba or kush but just to have fun with old friends and even to make new friends.

However, the Wise Bird did not even attempt to go to the offices of the other political parties, because at the moment, they are less known in society for now. And they are not in the public domain, and some political parties do not have offices for now to operate, so it will be very difficult to locate them, and so the Wise Bird did not visit them.

Few days ago, after a day’s work, the Wise Bird went out to visit friends and the first port of call was the office of the Main Opposition the All People’s Congress (APC) party, it went to have some fun with old friends in order to talk about the present and the good old days.

Upon arrival at the party office, the bird met a good number of old friends as they were discussing important issues.

Some of the party supporters/members the Wise Bird met were very quick to explain certain things to the most respected animal, saying that, things are very difficult with them but thanks to some senior members of the party, they always come to their aid, and that when the APC was in power, Ministers and Deputy Ministers and even senior members of the party were very kind to them, and whenever they pay them visit in their offices they used to come out with smiles on our faces, they said.

Others say, up-to-date some of them are still kind to them, notwithstanding they are out of employment, but they still assist them whenever they call on them.

In other to have a balance story on the two big parties in the country, and by way of making comparison, the Wise Bird wasted no time but flew to the ruling party’s office the SLPP where the bird also met a good number of old friends, and there the bird was welcomed by almost everybody he met.

In fact, the bird was offered a rubber of soft drink to keep the discussion alive and the get-together was very friendly.

During the discussion some of the members/supporters of the SLPP wasted no time in telling the Wise Bird how some senior members of the party are treating them after the elections. Some from their explanations, it shows that they are very angry and bitter with some senior party officials.

Some were very quick to say to the Wise Bird that, a good number of our senior party members are very, very ‘GREEDY’; they don’t have the spirit of giving.

Some of the guys the bird met at the party office were not happy; while some were very quick to come out plain by saying, they benefited heavily from the APC when the party was in power. But our brothers in the SLPP are not as good as those in the APC, in the days of the APC we enjoyed a lot even though some of us were and still SLPP but we benefited immensely from the APC, they said. But our senior brothers in the SLPP today are nothing good to write home about particularly in terms of assisting the youths they said.

One even came out plain to have said, thank God their days are coming to an end, he even cited the former Finance Minister who, he said, doesn’t even want to see them whenever they called on him, and the same goes to others Ministers he said.

As the Wise Bird was about to leave the office of the SLPP, one of the members said the Chief Minister is the worst of all the Ministers as he does not talk to people let alone does he ever want to see anyone.

One of them said, they should know that, “no condition is permanent under the sun oooh and elections are coming shortly.”
