We shall benefits from their initiatives, and empathy so that equality returns to our communities, society specifically in the area of good governance and service delivery.
YouTube which is a social media platform has awarded “Wi Yard” with a [Silver Creator Award] for clocking 100K Subscribers on their platform. The content creator Wi Yard is the original Sierra Leonean channel to be recognized by YouTube for the first time in the history of Sierra Leone, the milestone achievement for subscribers is a great blueprints at least for clocking 100k in four years as the only credible krio program in the world.
Speaking to the presenters (Sengbeh and Bai Bureh) have revealed to Africa24 that Wi Yard channel which was established in December, 2019 and has been a strong independent voice against the ills that have been perpetrated by the government against the people of Sierra Leone.
“Wi Yard has been the truth to the lies of the government, cradle for impartial analysis of issues bordering around governance and the rights of the Sierra Leonean citizenry. Placed the interest of the public over their own personal security and reputation, this is how we are committed to see that Sierra Leone is a better place for all regardless of tribe, race, region or political affiliation. Wi Yard is the truth to the lies of the government,” they said.
However, Wi Yard is complementing government flagship programs in education and good health center in Sierra Leone to exercise restraint and great atmosphere in a bid to implement the free speech, job creation, transparency, accountability, fight against corruption, and Health Center at community level. All are assured of the better development at the end of the tunnel under their supervision, as critical journalists in Freetown and the globe.
“Due to consistent and massive suffering in the communities, the under siege of democracy beyond repairs, Wi Yard went on to seek the views and opinions of the ordinary Sierra Leoneans across the globe. Although, the unemployment rate is now about 95% incomplete” they confirmed.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Madam Fatmata Kamara of Jui, a critical voice back home has told this medium that Wi Yard is a household name in Sierra Leone. “I love [KOL RES] program especially when issues of transparency, accountability and good governance are purely discussed. I believe Wi Yard will be improving more, thanks to our presenters and the team,” she explained.
