The Operations Team of Aberdeen Police Division held Hassan Conteh of Last Banking with 209 wraps of Kush.
This comes in the height of the fight against the sales and consumption of narcotic drugs.
Police operations team at Aberdeen Police Division, under the leadership of Inspector MB KOROMA (superintendent) and by the astute Local Unit Commander CSP, NOURAH Adama N’GOBEH, they have continued to make progress.
The life of peddlers and consumers of narcotic, especially Kush is reported to be unbearable.
In light of the above, on 4th July 2024, between the hours of 11: 30 hours to 12:30 hours in what seems to be a well-planned and carefully executed operations, junior police embarked on an arrest of one Hassan Conteh of Last Banking who had been figured out as one of the ardent drug peddlers within the Last Banking community. He was held with two hundred and nine (209) wraps of substance reasonably suspected to be Kush, having in possession of it without lawful authority.
The stringent action taken by the Police saw the commendation of well-meaning Sierra Leoneans.
They applauded the law enforcement officers for a move in the right direction.
The Aberdeen Police Division has vowed to uphold and uplift the image of the SLP by ensuring that the sales of drugs becomes a dangerous task to venture into.
