AG Youth Empowerment Champion (YEC) has started a Kush campaign in the country.
YEC brags of empowering youths, healing minds, saving lives and protecting planet together, saying it makes difference in the lives of youth.
The organization was formed few years ago to help the youths especially the Black Street youths in the fight against the use of harmful drugs in the society.
According to the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the AG Youth Empowerment, Alpha George this organization over the years has helped the government to sensitize the youth against the use of the harmful drugs especially Kush which has destroyed the future of the youth in the country.
Addressing the Black Street youths and other Youth organizations, the Founder of the AG Youth Organization, Alpha George describes the youth as future leaders and called on them to stop the use of harmful drugs especially Kush.
He said as an organization they needed to empower the youths, stating that he wanted them to be the next Dr. David Sengeh, cureent government chief minister, and other prominent youths in the country.
He called on them to support the Feed the Nation program which is the vision of the President Bio.
He disclosed that the organization has started this empowerment over the years and that they will continue to assist the government in the feed Salone project.
He called on the Black Street youths to take lead in the fight against kush with the Slogan, ‘Say no to Kush.’
Speaker after speaker called on others in the Diaspora to emulate the good work of AG Youths Organization in the fight against kush.
The Leader of Government Business in Parliament, Hon. Mathew Nyuma from the ruling SLPP commended Alpha George for his timely intervention to assist the Government in the fight against Kush and other harmful drugs which has destroyed the future Leaders of this country.
Hon. Nyuma as a government they will not relent in this fight and however called on other organizations to emulate the good example of AG Youths Empowerment Organization so that the use of drugs by the youth will drastically reduce in the country.
