This is the same as of Fourah Bay Road which connects brings economic benefits to provinces and the peripheral areas of both Western Urban and Western Area Rural District.
This road has played significant impact to the economic benefits of Sierra Leone, and this can be seen in the transportation of both local products from the various regions of Sierra Leone to the capital city. And some of the vehicles carrying these products are using these routes to supply agricultural goods to Guard Street or popularly known also as Dove Cote market in Freetown in the east end.
Women form a strong pillar in the supply of consumable local food products to Dove Cote.
The other essential role the road plays is serving as a passage by heavy duty containers from the Queen Elizabeth Quay port in Freetown.

In registering the important role the road plays such as to beef up the economic activities of the countries.
It is important for both the government and the institution charged with the responsibility of disbursing fund for the maintenance of roads in the country must consider this road for a facelift.
Authorities must consider this road and make it a priority to becomemotorable for vehicles, bikes and kekes.
Vehicles should be able to move along all day smoothly with no rancor.
This road has become an eye sore for both traders within the Bombay Market and people plying along the Fourah Bay –Bombay Junction Road.
It has been turned to portholes in which water gather and pervades on to major parts of the streets and business areas.
This sometimes affects traders during rainy season.
The most horrible effect is seen after an heavy down pour of rains and the water from such torrential rains gather in potholes.
And when vehicles continuously move about at this point the water from the road would start spraying on decent people passing by.
