Since the sitting place of the brave Bra Parrot was brought down by a heavy storm few weeks ago, this has made the brave bird moving from one place to the other in search of another tree to perch.

Unlike other birds, Bra Parrot is not always stationed in one place.

Because the brave bird, has been following with close scrutiny the activities of all the political parties, but has paid premium attention to the two main big parties, the APC and the SLPP.

Before the campaign timetable was out, the Leadership of the ruling SLPP have been moving nationwide in the name of a “Thank you tour”, while the leadership of the APC was still in court answering to questions of corruption.

And little did the leadership of the APC know that the leadership of the SLPP had almost covered the entire country.

The APC did not see the plans on the ground by the SLPP that are early campaigning, multiple registration in the Southeast, under-age registration in the Southeast, intimidation of first time voters, preventing people from registering in the strongholds of the SLPP and many more.

These are just few of the plans by the SLPP and by extension the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) to rig the upcoming Presidential election.

Bra Parrot has no regret in saying the APC had put no plans in place to win the coming election and, the reason been is that the leadership of the APC are far from seriousness as day-in and out they are fighting one other for strategic positions.

Bra Parrot is not a political bird, but will call things by their correct names in the interest of Mama Salone.

From the look of things, what the leadership of the APC supposed to have done long before now is what they are doing now when days to the elections are drawing near.

Bra Parrot is of the stern view that the APC leadership should have made objections long before during registration, verification and even when the ID cards arrived in a black and white color.

The unfortunate situation is that Bra Parrot was left in shame when the Leader and Presidential Candidate of the APC, Dr. Samura Kamara was the first to praise the ID cards, adding that the voter cards were more better than those printed by the APC in 2018.

At a press conference held few days ago, the Leader of the APC Dr. Samura Kamara gave three (3) days ultimatum for the ECSL Commissioner to resign and foreign experts to conduct the elections.

The brave bird saw all that as a day dream, when the elections are just few days from happening.

Bra Parrot saw on social media when President Bio was addressing his people, saying “we have won this election” he did not even say we are going to win the elections and, simply put he had put all his plans in place to rig the election.

There is a popular adage in our local parlance which says that “if e blind man say e dea stone you, e already don mas di stone, meaning that the SLPP Presidential candidate has put all things in place in making sure that nothing stops his way from not completing his second term in office.

That has been the truthful and clear message of President Bio to the citizens of this nation and, he even went further to say that even if the United Nations conducts the election he will win it with a resounding victory.
