The world’s admirable private banking firm, United Bank for Africa, has received a global fashion award in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
UBA is recognized for supporting the idea of promoting super modelling worldwide.
The latest Super Model Worldwide, a Sierra Leone event which was themed, “Fashion to Empower” was mesmerising !
“As a bank, we believe in the power of empowerment, inclusivity, and diversity. That’s why we are proud to support this event,” a statement by UBA’s key official.
“This initiative resonates with our commitment to uplifting individuals, championing body-positivity, and challenging societal norms.”
Lolo Simeon, the organizer of the event, presented the award to the MD/CEO of UBA Sierra Leone, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, on Monday 8th January in his office in Freetown.
The Super Model Worldwide event took place on Saturday 6th January at the Paradise Hotel Aberdeen Lumley Beach in Freetown.
“Together, we can celebrate the beauty of diversity and the strength of empowerment,” the bank had boasted.
