The Chief Executive Officer of MACCEM INDUSTRIES SIERRA LEONE LIMITED, Mr. Ahmed Mackie has over the weekend intimated to the Africa24 that over one thousand youth in Sierra Leone are expected to secure job in the ongoing state-of-the-earth cement factory investment at Hastings community in the western rural district, adding that the industry is set to decrease the high rate of joblessness in the country.
“Our dream is to help the needy with jobs at least to upgrade their goal. We strongly believe in the middle-man power for nation building, we have made a huge impact in order to seek the welfare of the ordinary Sierra Leonean through job creation,” he said.
Speaking to Africa24, Alpha Kamara, a volunteer Staff at MACCEM Industries SL Ltd, said the management is grateful and worthy when it comes to employment and condition of services in the country.
“Mr. Ahmed Mackie has been giving and will continue to give to the people of Sierra Leone, mainly indigenes and poor youth of Hastings community in the western rural district. He is a trustworthy person when heavy trials suddenly fall upon us, when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends dessert us, and whenever trouble thickens around us. We shall benefits from his initiative returns to our communities,” he confirmed.
However, this press discovered that 95% of the youthful population and Stakeholders within the environment highly appreciated his developmental strive over the years, based on his humanitarian drive.
Many assure of securing permanent jobs that will change their status with the help of Mr. Ahmed Mackie in the future.
