Ooh my God pipul lel for hide buku tin dem from the Wise Bird, becus deki say the bird too inquisitive.
But the ever-peaceful, patriotic and uncompromising animal nor dae lie per posin ooh e dae ol ways call things by dem correct and proper names.
The Wise Bird as usual has listened to radio programmes, reads newspapers, goes to Tik-Tok, and watches Television (TV) to be properly acquitted himself with both local and international news.
Few days ago, the Wise Bird heard on radio and also saw a video clip on Tik-Tok where the Sierra Leone Chief Minister was interviewed and he made certain statements that did not go down well with a cross-section of Sierra Leoneans.
The Wise Bird overheard distinctly when the Chief Minister was talking about those stealing electricity.
He did not think before talking, and over and above that he was not economical with his words; he was very specific in saying that Churches, Mosques and government Ministries are in the habit of stealing “light” in the country.
The Wise Bird has noticed of late that since the Chief Minister removed his dread-locks, he does not know how to speak in public places; these days all his public speeches are very offensive.
How can a Church or Mosque steal light in this 21st century? That is an insult on both institutions and their personnel, including the Pastors and the Imams.
What beats the imagination of the Wise Bird was and still is that the so-call inter-religious Council did not put out a single statement by way of condemning the statement of the Chief Minister.
The Wise Bird went out as usual to sound the views of people on the issue of the statement made by the Chief Minister, earlier, and all those the Wise Bird contacted expressed dismay over the statement of the Chief Minister.
In fact, others said the Inter-religious Council will never put out a statement to condemn the Chief Minister because the council is part of the government and so they are not even thinking of putting out a statement to condemn the act.
The Wise Bird will always do his best to inform people on issues of national interests.
