The most respected and patriotic bird is known to be reading the entire Freetown’s dailies (the newspapers) every day to be properly aquatinted with the issues of the day.
As the Wise Bird earlier on promised, he will never give out FAKE news to the people as he fears his credibility may crush if he does so.
As the brave bird was going through the papers, he came across a newspaper called ‘Concord Times’ dated Wednesday April, 3th 2024.
According to the article in the newspaper, the Vice President was making his position very clear that there would be no bail for any Kush importer, or seller, or any individual or group of individuals caught with Kush; such people would be charged to court and if found guilty they would be sent to jail.
The Vice President, according to the article, said government had dedicated two magistrate-judges who would be trying people caught with kush raps.
What amazes the Wise Bird, anyway, was and still is that the Vice President had been previously quoted as saying that some of the chemicals used to process KUSH are openly sold in pharmacies across the country.
The question the Wise Bird would like to ask is that how did the Vice President know that such chemicals were allegedly sold in pharmacies openly?
And the Vice President was also quoted as saying that even at Pademba Prison(Correctional Centre), a prison officer was caught smuggling Kush into the prison facility and also a military personnel was arrested with some kush.
From the look of things, Pademba Road prison appears to be another hot spot for Kush sale and sniff.
The article the bird read further stated that the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Hon. Abdul Karim Kargbo was also quoted as saying that the fight against Kush should not be politicized because it is a fight that demanded everyone’s attention and that the fight should be collectively fought.
The wise bird would want to advice the nation that now that our guys have known the source of the chemicals; it is very easy now for the police to track down all those selling the chemicals used to process the deadly kush.
