The Sierra Leone Football Association has effectively completed the first section of this year’s members’ Association Course for Assessors/Instructors and Elite Referees in Bo City, South of Sierra Leone.
The primary stage which was exactly tailored for Assessors and Instructors came to a successful conclusion with the delivery of FIFA certificates to 30 male and female veteran referees chosen across the country.
SLFA Executive Committee Member, Madam Ramatulai Kamara, Acting General Secretary, Mohamed Benson Bawoh, and Chairman of the SLFA Referees Committee, Alhaji M. A. Sesay urged the beneficiaries to ensure the full operation of the knowledge acquired during the five-day course, adding that, “the development of refereeing is largely dependent on the standard of assessors and instructors”.
The second phase of this year’s MA Course, specifically tailored for Elite Referees will continue in the upcoming seasons.
