The brave bird is a visionary to tell the future, and the wise bird saw it all coming as such; it was and is still not a surprise to the wise bird.
The increased in pump price of fuel is a way of telling the people of Sierra Leone that, the Bio administration cannot handle the affairs of the State.
Bra Parrot is indeed not comfortable with the present situation of things in the Country as in less than three months after the controversial election the pump price of fuel has been increased twice, from 21NLe to 25NLe and now it has gone up to 30NLe at the disadvantage of the people.
This is a clear indication that, the people can no longer travel freely as usual from point A to point B as it used to be, meaning the prices of all essential commodities will definitely shot-up on a daily basis, which also means more suffering for the people of Sierra Leone.
Bra Parrot, as usual, went out to sound the views of people in respect of the new pump price of fuel, according to those the wise bird talked to; they said this was not what they voted for in the last election. The people of Sierra Leone were expecting a positive change but now got the opposite of it.
The wise bird is just thinking aloud that, the government of President Bio does not have level headed people to advice the President on certain issues particularly on the cost of living in the Country.
It is very common that, immediately the pump price of fuel goes up all other essential commodities will also go up, adding more suffering to the people now that schools are about to be opened.
Bra Parrot as always the wise bird is not making a case for anybody, but this time the wise bird is making a complete case for the people, and for the government to make a re-think and do the needful in the interest of the common man in the country.
It is no secret that, the cost of a pump price of fuel will determine the cost of essential commodities in market places in Sierra Leone.
The brave bird took a tour this morning in various places to get the reaction of people, however; the negative comments overshadowed the positive reactions from people.
The people were very bold to say that whether one had voted for or against in the past polls but now almost everyone goes to the same Dove-cote or Guard Street market; the same Bombay Street market; the same Kennedy Street market and the same Abacha Street to buy whatever one wants, meaning everyone is presently suffering in the country under the Bio administration.
