The leading goal scorer in the Lone Rock Primer League, Kwame Quee, has exited Old Edwardian FC after a short spell with the club.
His impressive form has been manifested as he recently captained Leone Stars in two friendly matches against the Atlas Lions of Morocco and the Elephants of Ivory Coast.
Kwame was admired by “May Park Boys,” who are fans of Old Edwardian FC, earlier this season as hthe player contributed to the team’s success.
However, he has decided to take up a new adventure in life as he indicates that in a formal statement released on his personal Facebook page.
Quee took to his social media page, expressing gratitude to the club’s management, coaching staff, teammates, and supporters for their unwavering support shown to him during his time at the club.
He wrote: “Kwame-Quee Farewell note to OLD-Edwardians. Thank you team, Old Edwardians I would always be with you anytime on the road, it’s time for me to move, [to] enjoy the second face of the season with passion and stay safe, thanks to all coaches, management, peace.”
Quee’s remarkable late goal in Old Edwardian’s encounter with Bo Rangers is worth- remembering as it earned the May Park Boys a solid point in that game.
He netted the equalizer as Old Edwardians fought back-to-back from a goal, down to a draw against Bo Rangers FC at the Parade ground field in Freetown.
