Hon Papay Larkoh from Tonkolili district has distributed about one hundred bags of cement, iron rods, two carton of nails and other building materials to two communities Masokoray and Rogbereka.
The support is part of the MP’s latest projects to change the lives of the community people.
Hon Papay Larkoh said the two projects had cost him One Hundred Million old Leones (Le 100,000).
He called on his people to be working as ambassadors of development serving their various communities and he admonished them to stay away from all forms of violence.
“Politics is over; development should be our focal point.”
Speaking to attendees during the ceremony, Councilor Mohamed Clarkson Conteh, for Ward 171 and Councilor Zainab Kamara for Ward 170, both disclosed that the construction of the modernized health centre along with the community hall represent the beginning of future developments for constituency 050.
Hon. Aruna Papay added that he’s ready to supporting the constituency in transforming it.
He splashed praises to the district executive, constituency executive and singularly poured out praises to the district chairman, Dr Sam Bangura.
The Ward Chairman for Ward 171 stated that maintaining attributes of fair play, transparency and accountability in all dealings must be their key role.
Constituency Secretary Mr Alfred Yamba Conteh started that politics is over, and thus they should now focus on development matters.
