The Sierra Queens has secured another remarkable victory against Libera in the woman’s Day cup in Kenema.
Edwardline Jackson secured a brace for the Liberians in the 37th and and 66th minutes. The girls of Liberia suffered 3-2 defeat from the host, Sierra Queens.
FC Kallon forward, Kumba Z. Brima, got the opener in the 34th minute followed by Jariatu Kamara in the 57.
Brima sealed the winner for Sierra Queens in the 94th minutes. Both Liberia’s U-17 and U-20 women’s national teams were invited by the Sierra Leone Football Association to participate in an international women’s football tournament in Kenema City which is played between March 1st and 8th, 2024.
The tournament is being held in observance of the 2024 International Women’s Day celebration.
With wins in both their first two matches, the team is showcasing incredible skill and determination.
