Thirty-three-years-old Humunatu Agnes Gbla, a business woman made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No.1 on three count charges on causing grievous bodily harm with intent, wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 7th August 2024 at Parsonage Street Kissy in the Western Area in Freetown caused grievous bodily harm to Ibrahim Habib Tarawalie with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the accused person maliciously wounded Ibrahim Tarawalie.
Count three further stated that on the same date and place, the accused assaulted the said complainant in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm contrary.
The charges were read and explained to the accused, no plea was taken.
Magistrate Kekura told the court that the complainant complain to him that the brother and other relatives of the accused had been attacking him physically.
Defense counsel Anthony F.E.A Coker renewed his previous bail application for and on behalf of the accused.
Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused to the female correctional facility in Freetown.The matter was adjourned to the 17th October, 2024.
