The Wise Bird loves reading newspapers and likes listens to radio and sometimes he loves watching television (TV) to be more acquainted with issues of the day.
It has taken some time now when the bird has not been listening to radio programs but only reads newspapers on a daily basis.
Coincidentally the day the bird intended to listen to 98.1FM he heard the headlines being read and it attracted the bird.
The bird became very much interested in that particular news.
On the program, the bird overheard the most controversial politician of the time, Hon. Mohamed Bangura who some people have classed as antagonist to the APC but a protagonist to the ruling SLPP party.
Hon. Mohamed Bangura made a lot of allegations on the executive and certain individuals within the party more particularly the Chairman of the party, Mr. Minkailu Mansaray.
He started by saying that, the APC as a party had contributed immensely to national development in the country, and he went further to say that, the present problem in the party is power struggle; instead of, he said, those at the helm of affairs trying to organize and raise funds for the party, they are fighting one other.
Mr. Bangura went on to say that, his interest is built on the APC and nothing more than that.
Hon. Mohamed Bangura was very bold and categorical in his statement by saying that, the National Chairman of the APC Hon. Minkailu Mansaray is the problem in the APC party especially these present days.
He further accused the entire leadership of the APC party of lacking sound wisdom to lead the party.
On the accusation of him (Mr. Bangura) collecting bribes from the ruling SLPP party, he vehemently denied such claims as superficial; he said, he had never collected a cent from anybody in the greener party.
He also blamed the leadership of the APC of not being able to produce the data they claimed to have in their possession.
He spoke about the case he was having with the court in which he was accused of flouting certain provisions of the law and a claim that his car was seized by the court but it was later returned to him.
He however admitted that he has a very good relationship with President Bio and other members of the SLPP.
He said the issue between himself and Dr. Abass Bundu with the latter removing his name from the ECOWAS list has been laid to rest as he was advised by family members to forget about it.
Hon. Bangura is calling on the entire APC executive to resign from that office, saying they have not created any impact ever since they were elected to handle the affairs of the party.
Hon. Mohamed Bangura said he would soon quit the APC to join another party even though it was under the APC ticket that he was able to secure a seat in Parliament.
He however did not tell which party he will join.
Members within the party are very bitter with both the leadership and senior members in the party structure, he said.
Hon. Bangura cited Kono as a case study; on this, he said the APC cannot go without Kono.
He cited Chief Sam Sumana and Diana Konomanyi as senior stakeholders in Kono.
He further stated that, in the area of the economy in the country, the government needs to do more.
