As community leagues commence in the country, Friends of Attouga Mini Stadium Organization (FAMSO) have imposed a ban on Musa Noah Kamara commonly known as Musa Tombo.
He is the current striker of Bo Rangers and Leone Stars player.
But there are alleged controversies over his recent registrations with two community football clubs, Up Gun and Patton Rovers.
In a formal notice issued by the Organizing Committee, both Patton Rovers Community FC and Up Gun Community FC were informed that despite multiple protest letters by the clubs regarding Tombo’s dual registration, no resolution was reached.
The Committee’s intervention to mediate between the two clubs failed to produce a satisfactory outcome, leading to the decision to ban the player.
Famso’s public notice outlined that Musa Tombo had violated several regulations under Article 10 of the Fams’’s rules and regulations on player registration.
The Committee found that Tombo’s dual registration with both clubs automatically breaches the league’s constitution and rules.
Meanwhile, football pundits are calling on soccer authorities to intervene on addressing the sad calamity.
