Report reaching this medium has indicated that ‘Poro’ stakeholders from Makrugba village are desperately searching for one Issa Kamara whose deceased father was the head of the society.

According to tradition, in the ‘Poro’ society, when a leader passes on the eldest son automatically assumed the mantle of leadership.

Report further told this medium that even though Issa Kamara was informed about his new position as ‘Poro’ leader, he defiantly refused, insisted that he was not interested.

Credible sources within the community where Issa was residing in Freetown informed this medium that before Issa Kanara’s escape, he told neighbors that he will not replace his deceased father because such is against his religious belief.

Prior to his disappearance, sources revealed to this medium that Issa was spotted in one of the neighborhood and suddenly vanished in fear of him being apprehended by ‘Poro’ men who are desperately in search of him in Freetown from Makrugba village.

Issa Kamara’s immediate family has been reportedly placed under immense pressure by irate ‘Poro’ men; who are of the belief that they are secretly hiding him.

Family members are in a state of frustration because they have not seen their son; since his disappearance.

Other sources revealed to the medium that, Issa Kamara might have been apprehended and taken to a secluded thick forest while others say; he may have escaped to an unknown location in fear of his life.

“I don’t think Issa Kamara is in the country. He was very frustrated and I believed he has gone” one Mariama Turay said.

In Sierra Leone, government does meddle into the activities of secret societies; as such the likes of Issa have no protection whatsoever from State apparatus.

This medium is reliably informed that serial assassins have been hired to pursue Issa Kamara wherever he may be hiding.

Meanwhile, an intelligent source confided with this medium that the ‘Poro’ stakeholders have vowed to hunt him down for defying his deceased father’s legacy.
