Bra Parrot has been thinking day-in-day-out as to why people are rushing to become politicians at all cost, and also is in the habit of fighting for political positions.

It is very difficult for someone to know the actual reason if you did not study proper linguistics. But after proper investigations by the bird, he came to realize that people are rushing into polities to amass wealth overnight.

It is only when one enters polities he/she will become rich over night at the detriment of the masses.

For instance, as a President of a country you are at the helm of affairs all the facilities are yours, you fly at will money comes without asking where it comes from.

The most respected animal is very much aware that, immediately one is pronounced winner of an election, all the communities in the country pays special courtesy call to congratulations the appointed President with heavy envelops.

According to information, the President receives what is called “non-accountable fund” on a daily basis, it is also understood that, the President is not paying mobile credits or charges for his/her phones, what a privilege?

The same goes to the appointed Ministers their ultimate aims are to amass quick wealth at the detriment of the nation.

Ministers get rent allowances, transport allowances, free fuel and also receives heavy salaries.

As for those in Parliament they are allegedly receiving sitting allowances, Committee allowances, transport allowances, Constituencies allowances and other facilities.

The bird also observed that, only those holding political positions in the country are privileged to have certain facilities without questions being raised.

With all these facilities, the Wise Bird has now seen the reason why people are rushing and fighting tooth and nail to enter the political circle.

The bird is however, not jealous of them only that, what is due to the people, let them get it.

Some of the politicians fly more than Bra Parrot all in the name of getting daily sustenance allowance (DSA).

The bird sounded the views of many people from all walks of life to get more on the issue of polities.

All those the bird contacted expressed similar sentiments just as the Wise Bird does that is, to amass wealth overnight.

The Wise Bird has even noticed that, only politicians can build a house(s) or buy a car(s) in space of just one year in political position.
