Many a time people in position of trust have knowingly or unknowingly trying to sideline the Wise Bird by not inviting him to  important functions.

The All People’s Congress (APC) party held a retreat in Waterloo some time ago to further put the party in its proper footings.

The brave bird was never invited to witness the program, but as the bird loves to get cogent news to give to the people, the bird was at the meeting unknowingly.

At the retreat, the wise bird overheard the National Deputy Chairman of the APC, Ambassador Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh intimating the crowd that, the only enemy the party has for now is the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).

He further stated that, to fight an enemy of that kind the APC as a party needs to be united, adding a divided house cannot stand a battle.

Ambassador Yansaneh was very quick to have said that, there are some members of the APC party who have for whatsoever reason(s) have lost trust in the current national Executive.

He assured members that, the current Executive of which he is a member will never betray them for any reason(s).

The bird also overheard him saying the retreat is an opportunity for participants to reflect on the past and identify what went wrong before, during and after the June, 24 2023 general elections which he referred to as controversial.

He however, assured the membership of the APC that, the party is stronger than ever before to reclaim the seat of power (State House).

What the brave bird did not understand was and is hear Mr Ambassador Yansaneh said that the party is fully united but they are not speaking in one voice.

The brave bird noticed that, the party has a lot of factions, the fraction of Dr. Samura, faction of the very Ambassador Yansaneh, fraction of Chairman Minkailu Mansaray and that of the National Secretary General Lanssana Dumbuya with all these factions how can he now say that the party is united.

As usual the bird went out to sound the views of both members and none-members on the present situation of the APC party.

All those wise bird contacted expressed dismay over the disunity of the party at a time like this when they should be together as one family to fight a common battle.
