As Coach Amidu Karim announces his 24 man squad for AFCON 2025 Qualifiers against Chad and Zambia in the upcoming games on Wednesday, much is expected of him by the Sierra Leonean fans home and abroad.
Many, in fact, are dismayed over the selections of some veteran players for Sierra Leone’s national football team, the Leone Stars in preparing for a final two matches in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
The 24-man squad that will represent the nation in two crucial fixtures against Chad and Zambia, surely aim to secure their spot in the tournament.
The team will first travel to N’Djamena to face Chad on November 13th, before returning to Freetown for a decisive home game against Zambia on November 19th.
These matches are pivotal for Sierra Leone’s qualification campaign, and the squad is eager to give it their all to ensure a place in Africa’s most respected soccer tournament, African Nations Cup.
