The Strategic Communication Unit of the All People’s Congress (APC) party has informed this medium that the wind of change has begun in Bonthe District, South of Sierra Leone.
This medium has also been reliable informed in a video backed up with pictorial evidence on what is said here.
That in three years to 2028 elections Sierra Leoneans will once again have the opportunity to make their informed decisions through the ballot box.
The video said the ballot box will determine who will assume the reins of governance in 2028.
According to the APC Communication Unit, as they prepare for the upcoming elections, over fifty (50) loyalists from Bonthe District, the birthplace of President Bio, who are representing the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), have pledged their allegiance to the All People’s Congress (APC) Party come 2028 elections.
According to Foday Kallon, one of the defectors, said, there is government’s neglect of its supporters, despite their unwavering loyalty to the SLPP, leaving them with nothing to show for their allegiance.
Isata Alieu, a mother of two, highlighted the worsening economic situation under President Bio’s leadership as a key reason for her decision to defect to the opposition party.
This historic ceremony took place on Sunday 17th November 2024, in Bo, following the Southern Region Fundraising Dinner.
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including the National Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, Lansana Dumbuya Esq., Sidi Yayah Tunis, Hon. Wurroh Timbo, and the respected Bonthe District Chairman, Comrade Mohamed Sheriff and among many others.
