Singida Black Stars FC has dismissed Mohamed Nbalie Kamara from the team. He is Sierra Leone’s first choice international goalkeeper.
The club terminated his deal after a unsatisfactory spell at the Tanzanian club.
Kamara, who still has one and a half years on his contract, was shown the exit door following a several poor performances that failed to meet the club’s expectations.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper joined Singida Black Stars with high confidences of strengthening their goalkeeping options, but has struggled to make an impact in his time with the team.
Despite being a key figure for his national team back home, Leone Stars’ Kamara’s form at the club level fell short, prompting the club to seek a change between the posts.
This termination marks a setback in Kamara’s professional career. Though, the club has yet to announce a potential successor for Kamara.
Singida Black Stars, currently are aiming to strengthen their squad, and have now moved forward with plans to recruit a replacement who could provide stability and consistency in goals scoring.
