For involving into gay activities, Police Declares Ibrahim Mansaray wanted
Information reaching this press indicates that on Sunday 25th June 2022, one petty trader turned gay, Issa Kallon, together with his friend Mohamed Kamara were caught having sex in an unfinished building at Stadium Street in the Nagohun community.
Unknown to the two young men, a worker Osman Bangura arrived at the building to carry out some work. He suddenly appeared from nowhere and caught them red-handed in the act. He was shocked because he had never seen two men having gay sex which to him and the community at large is an abomination and a taboo.
Issa Kallon immediately fled the scene, according to reports. He later went to Sheriff Town, took an Okada (motorbike) to Total to disguise among football fans who were watching a football match. Investigations revealed that after some time, one of Issa Kallon’s friends Abu Bakarr informed him that community youths had attacked and beaten his gay friend Mohamed almost to the point of death.
Afraid for his own life, reports state that Issa Kallon dashed to his house to seek for protection from family members but upon reaching, he was shocked to hear his uncle tell him that he had heard about the affair he had with his friend in the unfinished building and that he was very angry with Issa for bringing shame to the family for which the family had decided to not only cut all ties with him but to do whatever they deem necessary to restore the family’s reputation in the community. The uncle further informed Issa that community youths had come with his picture, banging on the door, looking to beat him to death.
According to reports, his uncle told him that religious leaders had also visited the house accusing him of having committed abomination which is a white man’s culture. In anger, eye witness’ reports say Issa Kallon’s uncle threatened that he would personally kill Issa with his bare hands, rather than hand him over to the police because he had brought shame to the family.
Reports further indicate that Issa Kallon, in order to avoid such brutal consequences as his picture was out and his name on a wanted police list, he immediately ran from his house to his sister Janet Kallon at Kandeh Town where he hid for some time. Investigations indicate that she later gave him some money and at around midnight she hired a motorbike rider and instructed him to take Issa to Pamlap on the Sierra Leone Guinea border.
The sister reportedly gave him the phone number of one Mr. Jalloh and instructed him to call once he arrived in Guinea.
On arrival in Guinea, our investigations revealed that Mr. Jalloh was his sister’s business partner and he picked Issa up.
Since he arrived in Guinea, he was still afraid for his life as people from Sierra Leone normally travel to Guinea on business or to visit. In order for him not to be identified and possibly killed, Issa Kallon went underground and has since not been seen or heard from.
