32yrs old Mohamed Janneh alias Billion fire, a motorbike rider made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road Magistrate Court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.

According to the particulars of offence, on Monday 16th January, 2023 at No.15 upper Tengbeh Town in the Western Area of Freetown did steal from vehicle with registration number AUS 959 one black pack bag containing physical sum of Ten thousand One Hundred and Thirty Three Leones(NLe10,133,00) one iphone 12mobile phone valued at Nineteen thousand Leones(NLe19,000,00) one Boss perfume valued at Fifty Leones(NLe50,00) bunches of keys and documents all to the total value of Twenty Nine Thousand One Hundred and Eighty Three Leones (NLe29,183,00) being properties of Mambu Abu

The charges were read and explained to the accused and he pleaded not guilty.

Counsel representing the accused A.D Achatoh renewed his previous bail applications on behalf of the accused person

Meanwhile, Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of Ten thousand new Leones with two sureties in like sum and sureties to be resident in the Western area and sureties to produce valid identity cards depicting their addresses in Freetown.

He said bail is to be approved by the Bench and adjourned the matter to 7th February 2023.
