The Wise Bird is always passive on new happenings, doing so not to be very hypocritical as he always tells the reality by way of calling things by their proper names.

The bird has been monitoring the activities, performances and operations of both the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) the sitting government and the main opposition the All People’s Congress (APC) party.

The most respected statesman in the Republic has noticed a lot of lapses on the side of both parties.

The people have been accusing the government of not living up to their expectations, meaning all the lofty promises made during campaigns time have still not  been adequately met to reflect growth on the lives of the ordinary people to see.

Day-in-day-out the bird has been getting sleepless nights because of visitations by the general public, expressing their dissatisfactions over the attitude and behavior of the two oldest parties in the country.

From the look of things, the bird is not happy because he was expecting the lives of the people thinking for so long that it should have been better by now for the people, judging by the 2018/2023 political campaign messages of the sitting government.

The bread and butter did not come, the Lungi bridge project did not take off-the ground, the cost of essential commodities are still chasing the sky, and lack of respect for the rule of law is all seen in the SLPP current regime and many more.

Other political parties are always at the mercy of the ruling government, victimization in Parliament, harassment at the opposition party office, forceful installation of the Speaker of Parliament, all this also captured then under the bad governance scenario.

On the side of the main opposition APC, their weakness in Parliament is nothing good to write home about.

Of cause, they have failed the people in totality; part of their duties in Parliament is to collect kick-backs allegedly to pass bills.

According to the understanding of the bird, the opposition is to put the government on its toes but it is not teaming up with the current opposition in Parliament.

The APC, opposition in Parliament have to put their case across to the International Community. They have not only failed their supporters, but themselves as members of Parliament.

The brave bird as usual wants to get the views of the general public on these issues; and the bird spoke to some people, these are their views, that, the APC and SLPP are one and the same.

The SLPP is known for BAD GOVERNANCE; APC for WEAK OPPOSITION since 2018.
