Thirty-four years-old Ferdinand Morrcil Johnson, a businessman made his first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown.
He stood on a count of fraudulent conversion contrary to the laws of the state.
According to the particulars of offence sometimes in 2023 in Freetown, the accused fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property.
The properties include one grey 4runner Jeep with registration number AQN 055 valued at $18,000 and one navy blue benz jeep with registration number AQA 707, all totaled value of Le 864,000 entrusted to him by politician and lawyer Umaru Napoleon Koroma.
When the matter was mentioned in court, the accused person was absent.
A prosecutor of police Isatu Baba Musa applied for bench warrant against the absented accused person.
Magistrate Bangura granted the application and adjourned the matter to the 2nd August 2024.
