On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, residents of the Home for the Aged in Grafton received donation of food supplies from Baby Love Foundation (BLF) for the Needy.
BLF is a charitable organization founded by a Sierra Leonean lawyer, Joseph Papa-Lee Kaia, Esq.
The donated items include: two bags of rice, gallons of palm oil, tomatoes, water, milk, sugar, boxes of teabag, etc.
The foundation, is named in loving memory of the founder’s mother, established last year following her passing. Kabia, who serves as the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, explained the personal motive behind the initiative.
“My mother dedicated her life to raising me.”
“She supported me in school, and her care and sacrifices made it possible for me to become a lawyer afterwards.
Although she is no longer with us, I wanted to honor her memory by giving back to the community, especially to those most vulnerable.”
The donation included essential food items, bringing smiles and relief to the residents of the home care.
The Baby Love Foundation for the Needy aims to provide ongoing support to various vulnerable groups in Sierra Leone.
This recent act of kindness underscores Lawyer Kabia’s commitment to social responsibility and his enduring tribute to the woman who’ve shaped his life to becoming who he is today.
In response, the beneficiaries espressed appreciation and joy for the timely supported of BLF and team.
“We believe in BLF foundation especially for the aged and needy in society. Our expectations were met on time, may God continue to bless the owner and founder of the foundation,” they prayed.
