The Politics of Sierra Leone today is dominated by a historical fact of tribal and regional politics that shadows the patriotism of the Country with a subculture of hopelessness and Clammy politicians that idolise tribalism and regionalism.
The Politics of tribalism and regionalism in Sierra Leone today have helped accentuate the worst political scenario in our Country. The two dominant Cultural Parties in Sierra Leone, the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and the All People’s Congress Party ( APC ) have polarised the Country’s politics with Tribalism and Regionalism gaping into a Chasm of hopelessness.
Tribalism and regionalism are the worst we can imagine in our Current political trajectory with the exhaustion of attention and curiosity that has become a trope and a way of creating division and hatred, which is a new normal for our times and with new challenges.
The Current political practice in Sierra Leone is dragging the people to a very close edge of something very horrible. It’s time for Sierra Leoneans to reflect on their past political history and make a shrewd move to accommodate political tolerance rather than engage in violent storms.
The tribal and regional pendulum engulfing Sierra Leone is getting so large, and it requires full attention as it leads us to incurious despair with blatant subversion of our most robust tolerance.
Our unpatriotic politicians have created a national decline in our Unity due to their Partisan belongings as a paradoxical project.
As a patriotic citizen of Sierra Leone, we need to address the issue of tribalism and Regionalism in our Politics and build on our advantage of integration and tolerance.
The language of tribalism and regionalism in our politics should be barred as rhetoric that Will damage our Unity and set us back. As we have been defined by our history, we have now witnessed an era where tribalism and regionalism can quickly corrode our Unity and contain the damage in our Country.
So, the people of Sierra Leone must dodge the mirroring tribal and regional trap of our politicians whose tactics are tribal and regional divide and rhetoric that has aggressively hollowed out the Unity of the people of Sierra Leone
Let us not be allowed to be defined by our history but learn from our history and forget about tribal and regional divide politics. As patriotic Citizens, we should defend our patriotism and human decency. Let us not allow our rogue politicians to lower our integrity and our standards of political behaviour.
The politics of Tribalism and regionalism in Sierra Leone really pose unprecedented challenges to our Unity and Patriotism, and our politicians should refrain from their cloying bath of Sycophancy and cleanse themselves from the shameful rhetoric of Tribalism and regionalism.
The tribal and regional language used in our politics is really shifting the narrative of our politics and has plunged our Country into Chaos and Uncertainty, put our nascent democracy into disrepute, and led our Country into a turbulent time.
The big question now Is if tribalism and regionalism are political ideals in Sierra Leone. It’s time for the patriotic Citizens to denude our Country from the politics of tribalism and regionalism, or else our future prospects can only tremble as a nation of Unity.
I think our politicians are responsible for our divide-and-rule politics due to their tribal and regional rhetoric, Which is highly noted across the toxic political spectrum of Sierra Leone and has been incredibly effective in cajoling the gullible supporters of their parties.
For decades now, Sierra Leoneans have nurtured the system of Tribalism and regionalism in their political norm. This era has to come to a pass we all have a moral responsibility to the development of our Country through the existential Crusade against the tribal and regional politics of our Country.
As a peace-loving nation, we should all stand against tribalism and regionalism in our country’s politics. If we allow such narratives in our country’s politics, a new version of the politics of hatred, Confrontation, regional and tribal divide will overcome us, and which is catastrophic to every peace-loving citizen of Sierra Leone.
Our Current politicians are plugged into tribal and regional rhetoric, and they are true enablers of Tribalism and regionalism in our politics. Let us not allow them to use our country as their breeding ground for Tribal and regional politics just to fulfil their selfish motives and create mayhem under which they can flourish.
Our unpatriotic politicians know nothing other than regional and tribal inflammatory rhetoric that always echoes its dangerous conspiracy against their gullible supporters through their poisonous Propaganda to justify their vicious tribal and regional politics.
These unfortunate politicians are doing us immeasurable damage in the politics of our country as their myriad track records of Tribalism and Regionalism have created hatred in our Partisan Politics that has become a melancholy period in our Country with a vengeance.
Indeed, our politician’s refusal to kick against the tribal and regional rhetoric in Politics has sent a grim message to the gullible electorates that our Country is living with the problems of tribalism and regionalism in our politics but yet remains unwilling to contemplate the solutions to Tribalism and Regionalism.
The Politics of tribalism and regionalism in our Country today is indeed a project of Self-interest and a way to relegate our people to a painful way of living abysmal by our unpatriotic politicians to design our country in Social Chaos.
Our deep-rooted problem in our country today is Tribalism and Regionalism politics, which has created a gap within the Collective Understanding of our rule of law and how it operates. For our Country to be Progressive, we need to be tolerant of each other.
