Madam Aminata Jalloh, the hardworking and compassionate founder of Amie’s Bakery, has been awarded the certificate of merit for best bread bakery in recognition of her exceptional baking skills and dedication to her community development. Located at Number 2 Jalloh Drive, Banga Farm, Waterloo, Amie’s Bakery has become well known for its machine baked bread and dough nut cakes, which have won the hearts of many customers.
Beyond her success in baking, Amie has made it her mission to empower local youth by creating employment and mentorship. One inspiring example is Abdul, a young man she picked up from the community and gave him a new start in life. With no stable home or job, Abdul struggled to survive until Amie took him, trained him in baking and gave him the opportunity to work at her bakery. Today, Abdul is not only earning a living but also learning valuable skills that will shape his future.
“Baking is more than just making bread. It’s also about making a difference in life generally. I believe in giving young people like Abdul a chance because everyone deserves an opportunity to succeed,” Madam Jalloh stressed.
This certificate of merit is meant to celebrate both Amie’s excellence in baking and her deep commitment to helping others. Through her bakery, she has continued to create more employments, offer hope and serves her community with passion.
As Amie’s Bakery continues to grow, Madam Jalloh remains focused on her mission: “Delivering high quality bread and cakes while transforming lives, one loaf at a time.”
