George Alpha, the CEO for AG Youths Empowerment (AGYE) says he feels strongly committed to making Tokeh village one that cares about the dignity of the less privileged.
“It is important that we respect one other and care about each person’s access to opportunities.” “I hope that his empowerment becomes more compassionate and understandable, especially towards the vulnerable and disadvantaged,” says George.
He says he feels a strong sense of responsibility to help one another and care for the Tokeh Village community.
And so he wants to see a narrow on the income gap among workers at Tokeh village.
” The rainy season is exposing deeper systemic inequalities, which may be made worse by uneven access to business,” he said.
He was concerned that many lower-income families are struggling as they do not have ideal environments at to study or do their work.
He says the basic needs lacking at all Tokeh Villages is depriving many to achieve their full potentials, adding the underprivileged groups, should have many opportunities to tap into.
“Today, this may include access to business and childcare,” he said.
He says key issue which needs to be improved is access to resources as assistance for underprivileged groups. At the same time, he wished for a minimum standard of living for everyone to be provided
“We would need to contribute more to the trust fund, giving out with the little he have,” George urged others.
