Sierra Leone’s international Samal Bangura has been called up to play for Salone U20.
The Tottenham club’s young midfielder, has got his first call-up to represent Sierra Leone at the youth level internationally.
The 19-year-old, son of a former Watford player and Sierra Leone international Alhassan Bangura, will be present for selection in Sierra Leone’s Under-20 friendly matches in Morocco this week.
The player’s calling up marks an important step in his career as he joins the international squad after he’s developed skills while at Tottenham.
The midfielder’s selection to the squad shows his potential and deep ties he has for Sierra Leone’s football community as replicated by his father’s footsteps. Bangura’s friendly matches in Morocco will provide an excellent opportunity for him to showcase his playing skills on a global scale while advancing his career.
