In the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign, Tunisia have beaten Malawi by 2-0 victory to retain their track-record in the 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers, keeping them at the top of Group H. Seifeddine Jaziri scored a goal in the 86th minute after coming off the bench, and Elias Achouri secured a win through a penalty kick.
Tunisia have 13 points from five matches played, and with four points ahead of Namibia, who drew 1-1 with Equatorial Guinea.
Ethiopia celebrated their first victory of the qualifiers with a 6-1 win against Djibouti in group A.
Both players Bereka Desta and Abubeker Nassir scored three goals, while Djibouti managed to score a consolation goal by Samuel Akinbinu.
Ethiopia now sits fourth in Group A with seven points behind the leaders Egypt.
Both teams are heading for their final two matches in their group stages.
