The brave bird has been following the activities of both the International Community and the people of Sierra Leone in respect of the just concluded June, 24 2023 controversial elections.

From the observations of the wise bird, the people of Sierra Leone and the International Community are not happy with the outcome of the elections results, and even the World at large is not happy about this.

However, allegations and counter allegations have been levied against many people have cause to believe that President Bio as he was and is still the master planner of all the negative things that have taken place, and that Mohamed Konneh, Chief Electoral Commissioner,  had acted wrongly at the detriment of Mama Salone.

This time the wise bird is making a case for the people of Sierra Leone because, say what you may, the wise bird is fighting for the people of this Country and not for his personal interest.

The wise bird will say, without a hesitation that, fingers are always pointing directly at President Bio that he is responsible for all the wrong things that have taken place in the Country over the five years plus – such as the too many killings, the countless harassment of opposition political parties, and victimization and the like.

What actually beats the imagination of the people is that in all of the above; President Bio has never made a single statement by way of condemning such acts listed above.

Very recently, the wise bird was made to understand that, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has written a letter inviting President Bio but not necessarily to arrest him, but, perhaps only for him to be able to clear the air on certain issues regarding his leadership.

Not too long ago, information on social media has it that, the Millennium Challenge Co-corporation (MCC) has withheld the sum of $400m which was meant for Sierra Leone but had been cancelled because of the controversial outcome of the elections results fraught with rigging concerns among others.

Bra Parrot was reliably informed that, the government of Sierra Leone owes Karpowership the sum of $46m and this brings to mind as to the reason why all over the capital Freetown, communities and people have been experiencing series of power-cuts at almost every given time in some places.

As usual the wise bird went out to sound the views of people in respect of the allegations against President which are the ICC communication to President Bio, and about the $400m aid-cut from MCC and the $46m debt by the government of Sierra Leone to Turkey private Karpowership.

All most all the people the wise bird contacted had expressed similar sentiments about the President not been acting as President.

Some say President Bio does not stand the test of time; others say President Bio will not survive the storm ahead of him.

Some people went further to say that, in his first and second terms in office, Bio has appointed the wrong people in his government, a good many of the appointees are square pegs in round holes.

Some of the Ministries or offices created by President Bio have no relevance in today’s development and it means they are just jobs for the boys and girls who were with him on a campaign train.
