The CEO of Kings Empire, Valentine Mak King has bagged the 100 Most Influential Leaders in Africa Award on 14th April, 2023 in Accra, Ghana. The International Award is an annual award organized by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation in recognizing Young African Leaders that are doing extremely well in all walks of life in the African continent.
The award given to Valentine Mak King profoundly known as ‘CEO Val’ did not come as a surprise. Over the past decades and now, he has been a beacon of hope for hundreds of Sierra Leoneans.
The establishment of his Company Kings Empire SL Limited five years ago rejuvenated the country’s entertainment industry. At a time when the industry was struggling with modern technology equipment, CEO Val came in with state-of-the-art equipment for the production of quality music, videos and movies.
As a young leader and entrepreneur, he wants every Sierra Leonean to succeed in their field of work which is why he has collaborated with different entertainment companies. The astute CEO of Kings Empire has worked with the Big Sister Salone, Island of Secret, NSA Awards, and Miss Curvy to name but a few.
The zealous CEO Val taking the country’s creative industries internationally is unprecedented. And last year, he bought a red camera worth fifty thousand dollars (USD$50,000) plus other updated equipment and signed five artists with a Seventy-Five thousand (NLe 75,000) package.
Valentine Mak King should be celebrated for his unflinching contribution towards youth empowerment; his love and support for the entertainment industry are unmatched.
