The Kamara family of 132 Fouray Bay Road Freetown have broken silence over the disappearance of their son Ishmael Babah Kamara who mysteriously went missing in Freetown ten months ago.

According to family source, Ishmael Babah Kamara was known for holding the government to account on critical issues ranging from the increase in the prices of basic commodities, the absence of civil liberty, the unjust crack down on opposition politicians and supporters, the refusal by the Sierra Leone Police to grant clearance for peaceful demonstrations and the use of disproportionate force on harmless citizens during civil protests are some of the issues Ishmael Babah Kamara and team were very vocal about,

Because of the practicalities surrounding the issues Ishmael Babah Kamara was challenging, put him under constant fear of arrest by the incumbent government of the Sierra Leone People Party,

Taking into consideration his surname and region he imanated from makes the government tagged him as one among the opposition party faithful with a motive to render the government incompetent,

Ten months down the line, information on the way about of Ishmael Babah Kamara still remains unknown

The situation surrounding the disappearance of Babah Kamara in Freetown remains a big doubt.

The family of Ishmael Babah Kamara is requesting information on the way about.

According to the family, they had not received any phone call from him.

“Brother knows most of our phone numbers off headed” a family member lamented.

With Babah Kamara missing in tiny air, the police have arrested close associates of Babah Kamara on the grounds of incitement and misleading the public.

Yet, intelligent officers of the police continues to make on the spot checks to Babah Kamara family residence and other prominent places in the community he was residing before his disappearance.

The sudden missing of Kamara have gone far and wide like a bush fire across Fouray Bay and Fullah town communities.
