It could be recalled that, the All People’s Congress (APC) stakeholders in Koinadugu District were attributed to be most disunite in the country.
During the lower level elections of the APC, the district chairman of the APC, Hon Lahai Marah’s vehicle was gutted down by fire due to a string or proetest by a rowdy factions in the district politicking.
Lahai Marah and Dr Kelfala Marah were reported of to have been in serious battle of supremacy in recent past.
Two great men were accused of engaging in camps which resulted to Dr Marah’s ambition to becoming the party’s regional Presidency to have dwindled as he pushed for a two consecutive times.
Dr. Marah was the Minister of Finance during the Ernest Bai Koroma era of governance and has done remarkably well to ensure austerity measures be effected.
Since the battle ebbed at the time, stakeholders in the district of Koinadugu and Falaba Districts have worked relentlessly hard to settle the long standing dispute between stakeholders in the district.
In order to restore sanity in the APC the Marahs of Koinadugu and Falaba Districts have finally come together to creating a huge impact for the APC come 2028.
The Dr. Kaifala Marah, Dr. S.S. Marah, Hon. Lahai Marah, and Hon Alusine Marah have united for Peace to reign and for the APC back to power.
The Marahs have held fruitful dialogue to unity and take on the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in the two Sister districts.
They reportedly say, enough is enough of the division among themselves and this is the time to redeem the APC party and Sierra Leoneans from bondage.
“This move is welcoming news for many. We the APC must unite for victory. We have been on this fracas for long and this is the time to liberate our party and take governance [soon]” one of the Constituency Chairladies told this medium.
She said there is no more room for disunity in the APC and promised to cascade the message of unity and the movement to the downtrodden.
