Salone U-20 National Team, Shooting Stars, are set for their first appearance in the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) scheduled to be played in Morocco, 2025.
Sierra Leone is placed in Group C for the AFCON alongside Senegal, Gambia, and Kenya.
Sierra Leone U-20 National Team, known as Shooting Stars seem focused and optimistic as the men are ready to represent Sierra Leone in a spirit of pride.
In their qualifying match to U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Captain Mohamed I. Kamara emerged as a standout player, scoring the decisive goal with help of his teammates Idriss Sesay and Samuel Ghandi.
This victory marks Shooting Stars’ third win in four matches during the seven-nation tournament, thus showcasing their impressive performance and teamwork.
The nation eagerly anticipates their debut in the upcoming prestigious African tournament, hoping to inspire future generations of footballers.
