The report further stated that, a Technical Committee has been established at the office of the Attorney-General to work on technical details that has to do with what the report referred to as entrenched and non-entrenched clauses in the 1991 Constitution.
The report also talked about the age limit for anybody (Sierra Leonean) who may want to contest for the position of President to be 40 years and above.
Particularly for the fixed date for elections, Bra Parrot believes is to avoid the issue of consulting the President and Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) before an election is conducted in future.
On this important topical issue about new Constitution that will soon come to play, the bird went out to sound the views of Lawyers, teachers, bankers, lecturers, market-women, drivers, students, ghetto-boys and as well as journalists to have their own say on it.
All those he met expressed satisfaction over the news, that if the new constitution comes to fruition, no president will just come one morning and announce a date for an election.
