At a well-attended ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Aberdeen, in Freetown, on Thursday January 25th 2024, the Regional Manager of Africa Global and Logistics (AGL), Captain Fabjanko Kokan, has promised to transform Africa, through development infrastructure and human capital development.
Mr Kokan noted that education is one of the most powerful tool to transform the continent and assured that they are going to focus on education.
AGL is operating in 49 countries around the globe with over 3,000 staff. They provide services to their customers through Maritime, Logistics, Port and Rail operations. The core values are humanity, agility entrepreneurial passion and solidarity.
Captain Fabjanko said he supervises Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea, stressing that their first goal is to transform Africa successfully.
He assured that their focus remains the same such as development, investment, infrastructure, and capital human development through education.
“Education is one of the most power tools to transform Africa,” he noted.
He said they are ready for change because they didn’t want to disappear like any other Company.
He disclosed that the government is a shareholder of the Company, stressing that if they are together, they can make it.
“If you want to run fast, you run alone, but when you want to run for a longer distance, you run with somebody,” he explained.
He said AGL is going to succeed as long as the people of Sierra Leone are with them. He asserted that with humanity and togetherness, they can reach there, saying that when somebody is alone he/she dies alone.
