Principal Magistrate Marke N’gegba of the Pademba Road Court No.1 has sent herbalist, Ibrahim Mohamed Kalokoh to the Freetown Male Correctional Centre along Pademba road for allegedly killing Mr. Kabba Santigie Bangura, former Lecturer at FBC, Geography department.  The accused, Ibrahim M. Kalokoh made his first appearance in court and was arraigned on one count charge of murder contrary to law.

According to the charge sheet, it was alleged that the accused on Monday 6th March 2023, in the Waterloo Headquarters Judicial Dstrict in the Western Area Rural murdered Kabba Santigie Bangura.

When the charge was read to him, no plea was taken and no legal representation was made on his behalf in court.

The wife of the deceased, Rosaline Ya-Alimany Bangura burst into tears when she was asked to take the witness stand and therefore could not testified.

In that circumstance, Magistrate Mark N’gegba has adjourned the matter to 5th June 2023.
