NP (SL) Limited, a private liability company which operates as a Petroleum Marketing Company in Sierra Leone invariably procures the highest quality grade of fuel that is way above the requirement of petroleum products in Sierra Leone.
The Chief Executive Office, Ambassador Kobi Walker of NP (SL) Limited informed this medium at his Headquarters Office, Freetown that their petroleum products are “much higher than any more than the government of Sierra Leone said NP should bring.”
The above statement was proven from the world’s leading refineries, stringently tested and quality controlled in major internationally approved European laboratories.
Considering the crucial position Russia occupies in global production and the collapse of many systems due to their conflict with Ukraine, there has been a level of erraticism within the global oil industry. This situation has resulted in an overall adjustment in the prices of national petroleum products worldwide.
NP (SL) Limited at the midst of this topsy-turvy has continued to do its best to ensure that petroleum products are available in Sierra Leone and effectively supplied to all NP customers. The Petroleum Company (NP) cares so much for its value customers even when NP would contend greater demands for fuel, due to the fact that other Oil Marketing Companies would not come through with their own share of petroleum communities, NP would bend over backwards to make things happen.

Dr. Willitte James, Communication Manager of NP informed this medium that NP (SL) Limited is one of the largest importer of petroleum commodities in Sierra Leone does not only boost government revenue by paying it dues, the Company provides employment to Sierra Leoneans, gives technical expertise to a good number of companies utilizing petroleum products and supports the energy needs of the country. These and all other interventions made by NP have attracted many accolades to the brand.
Dr. James stated that, “For us at NP, this is good news! The knowledge that our contribution to this nation is vital, gives us the impetus to not only do business in Sierra Leone, but also contribute to nation building.”
She highlighted on the Corporate Social Responsibility which she noted that NP (SL) had undertaken numerous development projects in Sierra Leone these include the School for the Military at Murray Town, School for Police at Kingtom and the water borehole and storage system project in the Central Business District which will ensure that sufficient water is always for the National Fire Force. Similar facilities were also constructed in Kissy for the Eastern Fire Force Facility.
The Company had also built squash courts at St. Edwards Secondary School, Grammar School, Bo Boys Government Secondary School and Fourah Bay College University. She mentioned in partnership with Addax, the company had built the Children and Maternity and Fistula Hospital in Aberdeen.
